Customizable Players
Turn bells and whistles on and off as needed

These are your videos and you want them to play in your players, so we allow you to make them appropriately unique but still uniform for a truly top level appearance.

Change videos, change content, without losing settings

Change videos quickly and easily without affecting your player settings. Just swap out a new video for an old one by clicking on the Change Video File link. Change content whenever you want, as frequently as needed, and you NEVER have to redo settings. No extra fees, no headaches, no coding or pasting.

After video playback redirect to a new page

Automatically put any web page in front of your viewer at video end. Once the video finishes the player will open up a new or use the same window to any URL you want. Does getting the ordering page in front of a prospect get any easier?

Auto Thumbnail Generation

The thumbnail image of your video on your video page is your viewers’ first taste and first impression of your video’s content. Your thumbnail can make the difference between your video being viewed or passed over.

Player Profiles make configuration easy and 100% flexible

Configure videos exactly the way you want them to appear and perform. Apply a style to a single video, an entire channel, multiple channels, sub channels, and more. Configuring profiles is easy and 100% scalable.

Use Case:

Let’s say you run a sports-themed website. You have a channel named “Red Team” that contains videos of all Red Team’s games for the current season. You decide you don’t want to show the Ratings button in this channel’s player. Instead of going into each video to hide the Ratings button, you simply make a Player Profile with that button “off.” Then it’s as simple as assigning that Profile to each of the videos in that channel.

Later, you decide to hide the Share button in the player for Red Team’s channel because you want them to stay on your site to watch all videos because of the other promotional information on your site. You make the change in the Profile. You make one overall change instead of having to make the same change to many video players!

To set up a Player Profile, go to your VIDEOS page and select the settings for a video.

Then select the Player Settings tab and you will see a drop down list labeled Current Settings.

From here you can select to create a new Player Profile. If this is your first time making a new Player profile you should see the Default Profile pre selected. You will want to make a new Profile per player situation you require. Then, every time you add a new video to your account you can simply assign that Profile to that video player. Then, in the future if you ever want to make a change to that profile, that change will resonate throughout all the video players that use the Profile, saving you X amount of time.

Customize your Player’s Skin

Your Player has a graphic control bar that appears at the bottom of your Player. It contains several controls you can choose to show or hide. The “skin” is the control bar’s color. When you change skins, you change the control bar’s color.

Using EZWebPlayer’s Player Settings control in your Dashboard, you can choose from 22 colors to help you establish a color palette that expresses your business’s tone, from executive to funky. Or, show no controls or skin at all for a completely seamless embedded video experience. The white or black of your RGB video background will completely blend in with the surrounding white or black of your web page.

With this, you can easily choose from our pre selected sizes. If you select the “Custom” option, you can input both the player’s width and height; making sure the player conforms to your web page’s sizing restrictions. If you select the option to “Autodetect” your player size, you will have the option of setting the max width/height of the player and the Autodetect tool will figure out the missing width or height of the player, making sure your videos do not have black bars in them.

Autodetect Use Case:

If I have a space for a video player on my web site and I know the player should be 500px wide but I am not sure how tall the player should be I can select that Autodetect feature and then select width and set the player width to 500 and then EZWebPlayer’s API will figure out for me how tall the player should be to make sure my video does not have black bars during play back.

Video Disabler

EZWebPlayer has a handy “safety switch” you may never need. But if you do, you’ll be glad you have it. Let’s say you’ve just published an entire channel of videos and you discover one of them has distorted audio or a key content element has changed like employee or product. Rather than disable the entire channel while you fix the problem, use our “Disable Video” control to disable only the problem video. Fix it and re-enable it, all without affecting other videos in that channel, specific settings or the all-important SEO tags.
